Business Meeting in Tashkent
July 18, 2018 saw Arkady Dvorkovich on a visit to Tashkent on an invitation from the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan. The Republican Specialized Children and Youth Chess School hosted a meeting of the FIDE presidential candidate with the delegates of the Asian Chess Federations. Sending their delegates to participate in the discussion of plans of further development and popularization of chess on the continent were as many as 14 countries, such as: South Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Palestine, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Laos, Jordan, Myanmar and Uzbekistan.

Arkady Dvorkovich shared his vision of the future of chess and his first steps in that direction should he prevail at the elections in Batumi.
